Ark Workplace Risk's CEO and Founder - Rosalind Benjamin and Senior Director - Regulatory, Technical & Technology Solutions - David Hills, explore the evolving landscape of Fire Risk Assessments.

A few weeks ago, ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) released their Autumn AQD magazine which featured Rosalind Benjamin and David Hill's 'The Future of Fire Risk Assessments' article.

Here's a snippet of what was shared in the article:

''The introduction of the Building Safety Act 2022 (BSA), Fire Safety Act 2021 (FSA) and Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 has pointed the finger at the accountable persons, owners and managers of properties...'

''These landmark changes in the building safety regime present property agents, property owners (known as Accountable Persons under the BSA) and other key stakeholders with a number of dilemmas...'

The future...

''These changes, including over 35 new activities and requirements which we have identified, mean that owners, managers and agents have to reconsider their fire risk assessment and management systems, scopes, and approaches urgently if they are going to protect themselves from unnecessary legal action, costs and loss of reputation.'
