This webinar continues the Building Safety series with the British Property Federation on the Building Safety Act 2022.

We had over 120 registrants and the webinar, undertaken in association with Shoosmiths, one of the UKs leading law firms, focused on a Case Study of our experience of working with several clients, owners, managers and investors and how they have developed solutions to the challenges the Act brings and what compliance looks like.

We had some great questions including:

• Consideration of the complexities of accountability under the Act in various types of high-risk properties where management companies hold such accountability
  
• How managing agents can support those with such accountability in developing solutions
  
• How building regulation completion certificates within the current regime actually do not provide assurance of compliance and that a greater degree of building control for higher risk buildings will be required when it comes to ensuring appropriate documentation is available for accountable persons.
