Ark Workplace Risk is proud to announce its instrumental role in supporting Galliard Estates in securing a Building Assessment Certificate (BAC) for Westgate House , a landmark residential development in West London. This significant milestone marks the third BAC secured with Ark’s involvement, reinforcing its position as the partner of choice for navigating the complex regulatory landscape under the Building Safety Act 2022.
The achievement is particularly notable in today’s challenging compliance environment, where many organisations are facing BAC refusals amid intensifying scrutiny by the Building Safety Regulator (BSR). Ark’s success - now extending across Westgate, X1 Tower in Liverpool, and Abito Clippers Quay in Salford - highlights its deep technical capability, sector expertise, and collaborative client approach.
Peter Clark, Managing Director at Ark Workplace Risk, commented:
“We’re delighted to have partnered with Galliard Homes to secure a Building Assessment Certificate for Westgate. It’s a testament to Galliard’s leadership, transparency, and unwavering commitment to resident safety. As regulatory expectations rise, our team continues to set the benchmark for competence-led support that drives results, not refusals. We’re proud to be helping clients not just comply, but lead the way.”
The Building Assessment Certificate is a key requirement under the Building Safety Act for high-rise residential buildings. It is only issued once the Safety Case Report has been submitted and successfully assessed by the BSR, demonstrating that building risks- particularly fire and structural-are being actively managed.
Mike Brown, Director at Galliard Estates, said:
“We are incredibly proud to have achieved BAC status for Westgate House. This outcome reflects the hard work of our team, and the trusted partnership we’ve built with Ark Workplace Risk. Their knowledge of the Building Safety Act, structured approach, and unwavering professionalism ensured a smooth process and an excellent result.”
Ark’s ability to deliver where others falter is rooted in its whole-building, competence-first methodology, backed by deep regulatory insight and robust digital infrastructure via its award-winning QUOODA® platform. With several more BAC applications already underway, Ark continues to drive best practice across the sector and support duty-holders in meeting their legal obligations with confidence.
